Volume added, malarial infection and fragility of red blood cell

Abstract

The target of malarial parasite in infection process is erythrocyte. The pathology of red blood cell in malaria is of interest. Here, the author proposes an idea that malarial parasite can lead to increased erythrocyte volume and has significant effect on erythrocyte fragility.
